We allow ample time for play and exploration to nurture children's natural curiosity, independence, and personal growth, empowering them to develop their own unique ideas and deepen their understanding of the world.
Play Based Learning
Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play IS serious learning! It's the foundation of early childhood education, where young minds bloom, curiosity is sparked, and creativity blossoms. Play is where little learners explore, discover, and develop essential life skills.
Curious Minds Discovery Club offers play based Music and Movement, Gardening and Sandbox Exploration, Stretching, Water Discovery activities, Fine and Gross Motor Development, to name a few!
Our young Explorers will discover numbers, letters, shapes, colors and more - building a strong foundation for Kindergarten, all through play! They'll be having so much fun they won't even realize they are learning.
Reggio Emilia Approach
Rooted in the belief that children are competent and active participants in their education, the Reggio Emilia Approach encourages exploration, creativity, and meaningful discovery. We provide open ended, hands on educational activities that serve as catalysts for curiosity and learning.
Waldorf Education
The Waldorf education style is holistic and essentially focuses on engaging the "head, heart and hands" - or thinking, feeling and doing. We implement Waldorf philosophies by engaging and guiding our young explorers through integrated art, academics and practical skills. According to Waldorf Education, children ages birth - 7 years live primarily by their senses, therefore this approach strives to provide gentle, sensory rich environments and play based activities to encourage young learners to explore social relationships, investigate the natural world and expand their imaginations.

A Day at Curious Minds Discovery Club
Example Daily Rhythm
7:00 - 8:00 am: welcome and indoor exploration
8:00 am: breakfast
8:20-8:40 am: Gather, group activity encouraged such as: stretching, read aloud, academic topics (number, color, letter of the day)
8:45 - 9:30 am: outdoor activities such as gardening, water play, free discovery
Transition / wash up
9:45 am: snack
10:00 -10:20 am: Music and Movement
10:25 - 10:50 am: Gathering, group activity encouraged such as book exploration or imaginative play
10:55 - 11:20 am: Guided or Free Art, indoor or outdoor
11:30 - 11:50 am: Lunch
11:50 - 12:30 pm: Outdoor Exploration
12:35-1 pm: STEM encouraged guided play
1 - until waking: Nap time or Quiet time
